BJJ shirt: the finest quality whup-ass......since the 1920sYep, the Brazilian style of jiu jitsu has been serving up the finest whup-ass since as far back as the 1920s. Check the history of BJJ if you're not convinced; it's a martial art with a pretty unique evolution behind it. I mean, traditional Japanese jiu jitsu, but developed into something entirely new in South America? Anyways, this shirt design is about the fact that, since the 1920s, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been carving its way through the martial arts of the world. Backed up by the Brazilian Vale Tudo approach to things - translates roughly as 'anything goes' - the Brazilian form of Jiu Jitsu has become, today, one of the most effective forms of real-world martial arts. After all, according to the original (and often misquoted to 90% of fights) 62% of law enforcement altercations with offenders ended on the ground. Seems reasonable to be prepared in the right way, right? Pure stand-up just doesn't quite give you the right odds...
